Herman Stiegemeier
Bob's grandfather, Herman started an automotive and farm equipment repair shop here on the property in 1941.
Bob Stiegemeier, Senior
Herman's son, Bob, was an expert mechanic at a local dealership for nearly 40 years. He carried those skills forward into race engine building and tuning.
Dyno Bob
Robert Junior, aka Dyno Bob, grew up in the garage and eventually purchased Herman's facility. He restored it and started an engine air flow service in 1990. He bought the first Dyno Jet dyno in 1991 and started porting blowers for higher horsepower in early 2000.
As a third generation mechanic, Bob has established himself as an engine airflow genius and an expert metal fabricator, with a full suite of machining capabilities.
To date, Stiegemeier Porting Services has completed rebuilding/modifying over 6,500 superchargers from around the world. Our cylinder head innovation spans 45 years.
Three generations of Stiegemeiers have been providing excellence and innovation in St. Charles County for over 70 years.
